Abstract

The artistic avant-garde has always looked at society as a straitjacket because it imposes limits on the freedom of imagination. The
graphic artist puts on the clothes of a genius and proclaims the freedom that, as he knows, is not available to everyone. If the need for social freedom is to be justified, the artist must truly be persistent in what he does, in his profession.
The native landscape and the human body are the most common sensory starting points for Dragičević's different world and for the values that are available in a liberating breadth, in such a finalization of feeling-thinking human efforts transformed into an artistic expression. The famous saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Collective liking or collective beauty does not exist, that's when avant-garde artists enter the scene, opening a new dimension with their special and sometimes self-deprecating views of the world, a dimension that is truly enchanting.
