MINIMALISM IN VISUAL IDENTITY DESIGN

Minimalism is a design philosophy based on the principles of simplicity, clarity, and functionality. Minimalist visual identities have numerous advantages over more complex and cluttered designs. They are able to accurately convey essential messages, evoke emotional connection, and seamlessly adapt to different media.
Through a case study of Apple’s minimalist visual identity, the effectiveness of minimalist visual identities was assessed. This case study demonstrated that minimalist design choices can strengthen brand recognition, foster a sense of trust, and facilitate a deep connection with consumers.
In the practical part of this paper, a visual identity design project was designed that adheres to the principles of minimalism. This project demonstrates the potential of minimalist design elements, including clean typography, negative space, and limited color palettes, in creating a unique brand identity.
